About zorch pizza
From Brewery Parking Lots to Two Richmond Pizza Joints
It started in a parking lot.
Back in 2018, we were slingin’ New York-style pizza out of a food truck on weekends at breweries in Scott’s Addition. It was friends making food for friends — loud music, hot ovens, cold beers, and a growing line of people who kept coming back for “just one more slice.”
Turns out, Richmond really likes good pizza. Through 2020 and into 2021, we parked the truck long enough to open our first brick-and-mortar spot in Carytown — a neighborhood slice shop built for quick stops, folded slices, and late-night cravings. And in 2024, we leveled up again.
We opened Zorch Pizza Parlor in Forest Hill, a full-service restaurant and bar where you can sit down, order a square Grandma pie, sip a cocktail, and argue about trivia answers with your friends.
We officially retired the food truck in 2023 to focus on building these two Richmond pizza spots. Same energy – bigger ovens.
We specialize in New York-style pizza — thin, foldable, crispy on the bottom, and generous with the cheese. But we don’t stop at the classics
We’re known around Richmond for:
We take ingredients seriously. We just don’t take ourselves too seriously.
From brewery parking lots to brick-and-mortar, Richmond has fueled this whole thing. So we show up right back — through collaborations, themed weeks, local events, and partnerships that support the community.
Our two locations have the same big slice energy – so come see what the hype is about.
